LMI's Specialty Foams
Ultra Soft Foams - This line of foams, including HSS X6^TM, HSS^TM, and SuperSoft^TMhave excellent feel and touch characteristics. The "breathability" of these foams, due to their high moisture vapor transmission and soft feel, makes them ideal for skin contact applications. Because these foams are easily welded, they find extensive use as cosmetic applicator tips and swabs. The drape ability of our SuperSoft^TM foams allows them to be laminated to textiles and fabrics for the apparel industry. Our formulations can be tailored to find the compromise between strength and softness to meet every need.
NolaSponge^TM- This line of foam was formulated for bath and body sponges which we die cut into oval shape bars. The unique cell structure is ideal for scrubbing and incorporation of bath and soap products. Currently, we sell this product as scrub pads. We die cut NolaSponge^TM to make oval shaped bars as bath sponges. This foam also has applications in water and air filtration. The cell structure of NolaSponge^TMcan be tailored to offer a wide range of cell dimensions each with a tight cell size distribution.
Shock Absorption - *Off Loading or SRF Foam* - This Visco-Elastic high energy absorption foam has been specially formulated to maximize unique slow recovery or "Memory" effects. This foam's exceptional combination of impact energy absorption and visco-elastic recovery imparts unparalleled dampening and anti-vibrational characteristics. Key foam properties such as density (100-300 kg/m3), cell structure, recovery rates and stiffness have been tailored toward this special application. Tested according to ISO 10993-1, Evaluation and Testing, guidelines and this data is available to customers.
Gaskets- Nolatex^TM and Nolaphil^TM foams provide a durable, leak-free performance for various seals and inkjet/toner applications. Lendell gaskets can be precisely kiss-cut or thru-cut as needed. Dimensional quality to your specs are assured by our high speed rotary and flat bed die cutting equipment. Heat assisted PSA lamination guarantees gaskets with consistent quality.
