Filtrona Porous Technologies Management Policy: Quality, the Environment, Health, and Safety

Filtrona Porous Technologies is committed to satisfying the expectations and requirements of our Customers and co-workers while protecting the environment and ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all.

We strive to continually improve to meet changes in the marketplace and the increasing needs of our Customers. Planning and preventive actions are fundamental to the realization of our annual objectives, which are underpinned with systems, procedures and training to ensure depth of common understanding and consistency of application. We work in partnership with our Suppliers (and our customers), focusing on quality, innovation, delivery, service and cost.

Filtrona Porous Technologies establishes, implements, and maintains programs to minimize our impact on the environment and to conserve resources through waste reduction, and recycling where feasible. We operate in compliance with all applicable government regulations, consider prevention of pollution & prevention of injury and ill health in all activities and continually improve operations to protect the environment. We establish sound relationships with all relevant external bodies, the public, our customers, suppliers and contractors to adopt positive environmental health and safety practices. We are committed to raising awareness of the environment, health, safety and quality among our employees through active leadership, training and communication.

Health & Safety are both individual and collective responsibilities. We must be vigilant identifying potential unsafe actions or situations which threaten health or property and ensure that they are avoided and eliminated. It is the duty and responsibility of every employee, contractor, and visitor to comply with safety procedures and practices, to make full and proper use of all safety equipment provided by the company and to co-operate with the company to ensure statutory duties are fulfilled.

The success of this Management Policy is founded on our personal commitment and the active participation of everyone at Filtrona Porous Technologies. It is reviewed annually to ensure that it remains effective.
